1. Scholarship Program

(Presented by "Law, Banking and Finance" working committee)

Objective
The IBC Scholarship Program is an initiative of the social support aimed at stimulating education, research and practise activities of the talented Russian students from low-income families, especially who are forced the combine work and study, including disabled students.

Participants/Implementers of the project
To be implemented by Saint Petersburg State University of Economics and Finance.

The co-ordinator of the project on the part of the IBC is Mr. D. Weßling, Uniper Technologies GmbH.
Approved as subject to financial support by the IBC at the IBC (former EBC) Presiding Committee meeting in May 2012.

Duration of the project: 30 months
Start of the project: 2012

The project is being extended for the future, according to a special agreement, unless one party choses to stop it.

 

 

2. Ecological and Econmic Assessment of Marine Transportation of Compressed Natural Gas

(Presented by "INIDEP” working committee)

Objective
The idea of this project is to identify the most cost-effective as well as environment- and climate-friendly method of natural gas transportation by studying and assessing the economic and environmental asessment of compressed natural gas (CNG) marine transportation.

Participants/Implementers of the project
Gazprom and Uniper.

The co-ordinator of the project on the part of the IBC is Mr. D. Weßling, Uniper Technologies GmbH.
Approved as subject to financial support by the IBC at the IBC Presiding Committee meeting in December 2015.

Duration of the project: 18 months
Start of the project: 2016

Status of the project
The project has entered the third stage. The analytical and statistical studies of the economic and environmental assessment of CNG marine transportation has been started.

 

 

3. Methane's Role in the Climate Change

(Presented by "INIDEP” working committee)

Objective
The idea of this project is to analyse Methane’s role in climate change considering different metric indexes.

Gazprom and Uniper.

Approved as subject to financial support by the IBC at the IBC Presiding Committee meeting in December 2016.

4. LNG – Experience sharing with the transport sector in Eastern Europe; Creating the right conditions for successful market development in the fuel sector

(Presented by "INIDEP” working committee)

Objective
To deliver the right conditions for a successful market preparation of LNG as a fuel for heavy commercial traffic in transit zones between Eastern and Western Europe.

5. Youth Day – Dialogue of Generations

(Presented by "HRES” working committee)

Objective
The idea is to increase the attractiveness of the energy industry for young people and find appropriate career opportunities for talented students.

Participants/Implementers of the project
International universities.

PJSC Gazprom, Uniper, Energy Delta Institute, N.V. Nederlandse Gasunie, Gas Terra, Verbundnetz Gas AG, ENGIE SA (GDF Suez) and International Fund of Innovative Programmes Unecon.

Approved as subject to financial support by the IBC at the IBC Presiding Committee meeting in December 2015.
