IBC Working Committee “Modern Technologies and Prospective Oil and Gas Industry Projects” held XIV meeting as a hybrid event

On 24 June 2021 the XIV meeting of the “Modern Technologies and Perspective Oil and Gas Projects” Working Committee of the International Business Congress was held in a hybrid format and dedicated to “Trends and Prospects of the Aerospace Technologies Application in Oil and Gas Industry”.

Chaired by Deputy Chairman of the Management Committee, Gazprom, Dr. Vitaly Markelov the meeting took place in Shchelkovo near Moscow and was hosted by JSC Gazprom Space Systems.

More than 70 participants from 35 countries attended the meeting.

The Deputy Minister of Energy of the Moscow Region Mr. E. Gavrilov, First Deputy Director General for the Development of Orbital Constellation and Prospective Projects, Roscosmos State Corporation Mr. Y. Urlichich and twice Hero of the Soviet Union, General Designer of the rocket and space corporation “Energy”, 56th Soviet cosmonaut, Mr. V. Soloviev warmly greeted the participants of meeting.

During the meeting following distinguished speakers delivered their presentations on related topics: Mr. D. Sevastiyanov, Director General, JSC Gazprom Space Systems (“Use of aerospace technologies for monitoring and control of Gazprom Group facilities”); Mr. M. Nedzvetskiy, Deputy Head of Department of PJSC Gazprom, Director General of Gazprom VNIIGAZ LLC (“Aerospace technologies in the interests of innovative development of PJSC Gazprom”); Mr. P. Korvyakov, First Deputy Director General, JSC Gazprom Space Systems: (“About solving tasks of geotechnical, ice and ecological monitoring of Gazprom Group production infrastructure on the basis of a small universal space platform”); Mr. A. Belevtsev, Chief Digital Officer PJSC Gazprom Neft: (“Application of unmanned aircraft systems in the production chain of Gazprom Neft”); Mr. A. Bakunts, Regional Director of Thales Alenia Space in Russia: (“Space Technologies for Life”); Mr. C. Morucci, Business Development Manager in Oil and Gas, Environment, Land Use, Security, Maritime Navigation, e-Geos: (“Use of radar satellite data to support exploration, operation and decommissioning activities in the oil and gas sector”); Mr. E. Akhadov, Executive Director of Gas Industry Journal: (“About International Young Scientists Awards in the Field of Oil and Gas: A Glance Into the Future”).

As part of the meeting the participants visited the Korolev-based (Moscow region) museum of the Rocket and Space Corporation “Energy” named after S. Korolev.
