The IBC Working Committee for Industry, Innovations and Prospective Development headed by Dr. O. Aksyutin, Deputy Chairman of the Management Committee, Head of Department of PJSC Gazprom, held a roundtable in Saint Petersburg on February 28, 2023 on the topic "Perspectives of Oil and Gas Sector Development in the Context of Global Challenges".
The event was held in a hybrid format and gathered 68 participants in the conference hall and about 40 participants online. The keynote address on the prospects of the oil and gas industry in the face of today's challenges was presented by the roundtable moderator Dr. Oleg Aksyutin. Twelve speakers from Russia and Indonesia presented their papers on innovative areas of oil and gas industry, such as hydrogen energy, LNG, AI and other IT solutions for enterprises, the latest scientific discoveries in the field of oil and gas developments. There were also presented analytical reports on the assessment of global trepresentative of the National Energy Council of Indonesia, Mr. Satya Vidya Yudha presenrends in energy and possible options for the development of specific economic trends. Theted a report on the present and future of the Indonesian gas industry. Chairman of the IBC Board, Dr. Alexander Medvedev, presented an overview of the Congress activities and the calendar of international meetings of member companies in 2023.
