The primary goals

are to identify and promote cutting-edge technology and innovation for the oil and gas industry; support and encourage young scientists’ research work and enhance international scientific and technical collaboration.

The International Business Congress (IBC) / The Modern Technologies and Prospective Oil and Gas Industry Projects Committee; Gas Industry Journal (founder – PJSC Gazprom); JPSC Gazprom; leading Russian and foreign energy companies, above all IBC members; Russian and foreign universities, scientists, subject matter experts and young researchers / research team of scientists of up to 35 years of age.

2021 International Young Scientists Awards in the Field of Oil and Gas: A Glance Into the Future

The 2021 Young Scientists Awards’ participants included 93 young scientists from 11 countries. A total of 60 external scientific and industry experts from Russia and other countries, including Germany, Sweden and Italy evaluated research projects. As a result, three young scientists from Russia, Germany and China won the 1st, 2nd and 3rd places; eight young researchers from Iran, China and Russia received special awards and four young scientists from Poland, Bulgaria, China and Russia were awarded certificates of achievements in research and innovation. All winners received awards, prizes and gifts. The winners were recognized at the Awards ceremony that was organized and held as part of the 10th St. Petersburg International Gas Forum (SPIGF-2021) on October 6, 2021.
