Business Security

The Business Security Working Committee is one of the first five working committees established as part of the Founding Conference with the International (formerly European) Business Congress in 1997.

The Working Committee addresses business security issues in Europe and the world and possible establishment of a unified legal system to regulate business. It also deals with issues of effective information exchange between EBC/IBC member-companies on information security, preventive measures against corruption, fraud and money laundering.

The Committee is pursuing the goal of establishment of business cooperation between the security services of member-companies of the Congress both on bilateral and multilateral basis.

In light of permanently increasing crime waves posing a threat to economic and social development the Committee took specific interest in collaboration with “Information and Communication” Working Committee to address current challenges and information security in Europe and the world.

The meetings of the Committee are always held on highest levels and drew attention of many prominent political figures.
